Commercial leases are written by and for landlords. Before you commit your business to years of rent and obligations, it pays to understand exactly what you are agreeing to - and to negotiate the points that matter.
How I help
The firm reviews and negotiates commercial leases for tenants and small businesses: rent and escalation terms, the length of the lease and renewal options, who pays for taxes, insurance, and maintenance, permitted use and signage, assignment and subletting rights, and the conditions for ending the lease. Where it helps your position, I negotiate directly with the landlord or their agent.
Prospective tenants who come to the table informed - and represented - are treated very differently from those who sign the printed form as-is.
Why it matters
Unlike residential tenants, commercial tenants have wide latitude to negotiate, but few of the automatic protections. Once the lease is signed, there is little room to renegotiate. The time to protect your interests is before signing.
Serving business tenants across Arizona and Nevada, including Goodyear, Phoenix, and the West Valley. Call before you sign - in English or Spanish.
